About the area

Bahçeler is the residential part of Iskele rather than the holiday strip. People live here all year, so the shops, the pharmacy and the banks do not keep to the season. Sandy Long Beach is three kilometres away: you drive there to swim without living fifty metres from the beach bars.

A detached house in this climate gives you two things a flat does not: a yard of your own to sit in on a July evening, and a roof terrace. Underfloor heating is not a luxury here either.
